Lastest NewsJune 15, 2006 - 2006 Tour CancelledWe regret to inform you that the 2006 Ride to Survive Bicycle Tour has been cancelled. We were not able to pull everything together in time to have a successful tour this year. Rather than risk having the tour without the appropriate preparations in place, we made the painful decision to take a year off. Please enjoy some of the other fine tours in the area and look for us again in 2007, when we will be back with a new route. Thank you for your support over the past few years, and we look forward to seeing you again next year. LIVESTRONG Who We AreThe Ride to Survive is a group of related cycling activities designed to raise awareness of those fighting cancer. The premier event of the Ride to Survive is an annual one-day tour of central Ohio. This tour is a fun family ride though rolling hills and past covered bridges and farms with options for routes of 100 miles, 50 miles, and 25 miles. Sag support and rest stops are planned for the longer routes. Proceeds from the ride are donated to the Lance Armstrong Foundation which provides money for cancer survivor research and grants to help cancer victims. |
